A message from the founder of Amuseworld

Amuseworld began to take shape in the summer of 2006, when my elder daughter was six years old.

Whenever we shopped for toys or dolls, I was aware that I could find nothing on the market which really captured her imagination or seemed to connect with her character and personality. Neither was there a ‘girls’ world’ which corresponded to the one which I, as her mother and as a woman, wanted her to play in.

An exciting project began to emerge; to create a new ‘girls’ world’, with inspiring characters for all the little girls who have difficulty identifying with those super-trendy, superficial girls they are currently offered as role-models.

This brave, new world would be contemporary, yet poetic; meaningful, yet light-hearted; thought provoking, yet fun. It would tackle serious subjects, whilst still retaining high ideals. Above all, it would be populated with straight-forward, unsophisticated characters to whom our daughters could relate.

A safe social network was created especially for them, based on positive values, and meaningful content where they can learn and have fun in a safe on-line environment.

The seed was sown. Now we had to help it grow! An exhilarating adventure had begun!

As the months have gone by, many passionate and qualified people have joined the team in order to build a real community for girls which can transcend all boundaries.

As of december 2012, the Amuseworld community has reached 50 000 little girls mostly in french speaking countries. We have also received many messages of support and encouragement from parents whom we wish to thank for their trust.

In the coming year, we will work to make Amuseworld even more interactive, even more fun and even-more international. We will add more content (so that your children can learn about other cultures, foreign languages and the environment). The adventure continues… with you!
